Calibration.
Due to various factors in water supplies at end user property which vary from those used in testing and therefore default setting, outlet temperature may require resetting in your shower. The temperature will need to be set between 39ºC and 41ºC in to comply with UK regulations.
To do this install the cartridge then fully opening the valve, insert a small flat head screwdriver into the screw hole in order to latch onto the the adjusting screw, then turn the screw clockwise/anti clockwise to adjust for your environment -clockwise for a cooler/anti clockwise for a warmer.
